Please sign the NC Affiliate Tax petition

Stop this from happening in YOUR State!

In signing this petition, I am formally stating my complete and total opposition to North Carolina Senate Bill 202, specifically Sections 27C.2(a), 27C.2(b), 27C.2(c), and 27C.2(d), which can be found on pages 268 and 269 of the following document: http://www.ncleg.net/Sessions/2009/Bills/Senate/PDF/S202v6.pdf

I firmly believe that these proposed tax changes will directly result in the loss of income for countless small businesses and individuals throughout the state of North Carolina.

I oppose the above referenced sections of North Carolina Senate Bill 202 and do not wish to see these portions of the proposed law enacted.

Blue Nile cuts ties to North Carolina affiliates

North Carolina - the most backward-thinking State in the US.....

This is nothing short of terrorism of North Carolina businesses.

"Amazon 1, North Carolina 0" - You think this is funny?

It appears you do.

Even with a name like Rick Aristotle Munarriz - you apparently do NOT live in the confused and screwed-up State of North Carolina. Since you do not and since you are not out of business this fine Monday morning, please keep your smart-ass reflections to yourself.

You are only making it worse for those of us who have worked hard to build businesses which you, AND the State of North Carolina AND Amazon, apparently do not appreciate.

Associates who have been sending sales to Amazon - some in large volumes for years - have to reflect not only on the brush off we are receiving by the state we unfortunately reside in - we have Amazon to thank as well.

It will be very interesting to see how many "laughs" are to come once this little tax deal idea - ignorant as it is since it decreases taxable revenue income - spreads to all the other little States of Confusion.

Amazon Cuts North Carolina Affiliates to Avoid Tax

Is there a worse state to live in than perpetual confusion?

How about the State of North Carolina? Today, both are the same.

Amazon closed ALL associates programs for anyone located in North Carolina because the ignorant and desperate legislature wants to tax money that can't really be tracked in the first place.

So,

"In an e-mail Amazon sent early Friday morning to North Carolina affiliates, the company informed them that their accounts would be closed as of June 26. "This is a direct result of the unconstitutional tax collection scheme expected to be passed any day now by the North Carolina state legislature (the General Assembly) and signed by the governor," reads the message."

...with the stroke of a pen - or rather before, since Amazon acted on Friday, June 26th, many self-employed, independent business owners in the State of North Carolina, are out of business this morning, June 29th, 2009.

We can't go to the State for unemployment of course since most of us are self-employed. What better segment of the WORKING, income-tax-paying citizenry for the State to attack?

Living in North Carolina with it's over-indulgence of illegal immigrants was bad enough.

This is quite probably, enough to make many legitimate and legal businesses - take their tax money and run...to another State...

Say it loud...I'm legal and proud...

Sneaking into the White House tomorrow will be the following alleged representative of LEGAL US citizens:

Senators: Robert Menéndez, Patrick Leahy, Charles Schumer, John McCain, Mel Martínez, John Cornyn, Jeff Sessions.

House Members: Lamar Smith, Zoe Lofgren, Xavier Becerra,Howard Berman, Lincoln Díaz-Balart, Luis Gutiérrez, Nydia Velázquez, Adam Putnam, Anthony Weiner.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This push for ANY additional privileges for illegals must be stopped - and the illegal immigrants must be removed from this country - or the country will soon cease to exist as we've known it. It's more than half-way disappeared already....
Until every legal citizen has a job and health benefits - illegals and those who hire them and those political officials who pander to them, are nothing but terrorists.
La Raza Demands Obama's Health Reform Plan Cover Illegal Aliens
Tired of reading "La Raza" and "Demands" in the same sentence
"On Monday, June 15, the National Council of La Raza (La Raza), an open borders advocacy group, issued a statement calling upon Congress to ensure that illegal aliens are given health benefits if and when Congress considers health care reform."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm not sure what they are calling for now. They are already bankrupting the country, getting free food, free medical - you know, all those things legal citizens don't have access to. Now they are calling for some sort of "Official" assurance.

We don't need official assurances...we already KNOW you are illegal!!!

Great coming from people who are making out like the Frito Bandito on government handouts. La Raza translation for legal US citizens - "Terrorism from within"...

Once again - animal protection laws mean nothing in the US

NYC to euthanize thousands of geese.

Canada geese are protected under federal law.

But apparently this means nothing if enough "humans" complain because we now have federal agencies - meaning those paid for by taxpayers - breaking their own law. The Fish and Wildlife Service did not respond to an email as to WHY this is being allowed as the ONLY response these idiots can come up with for this confrontation between humans and geese.

This will NOT solve ANY problem they are having and they know it - but they're doing it anyway because that is what stupid humans do.

I'm boycotting New York until I can figure out whether they might have any problem with me. I'd hate to be rounded up and gassed.

Apparently, a law-less state...and those shown in the picture SHOULD be being arrested for violating a federal law...

Democracy is dead.....at least in North Carolina

RALEIGH -- North Carolina lawmakers shaping a compromise to reform a law allowing cities and towns to annex neighboring property owners against their will have so far ruled out allowing a local vote. A House judiciary committee Thursday made public revamped legislation that lawmakers hope will reduce complaints from property owners forced to join a municipality.

  • Oh no - of course no one should be able to complain about being sucked up by a town so we can pay even more taxes - without representation.

Lawmakers will consider more than two dozen amendments and try hammering out legislation Tuesday. The measure doesn't allow affected residents to vote on whether to accept annexation, something sought by protest groups. That idea is opposed by municipal officials who say local voting would thwart expansion.

  • No, let's nip that in the bud...we can't have people actively protesting annexation after the fact. Especially those of us who particularly bought our property because it was NOT in the town idiots jurisdiction...
These officials - being pimped by the Municipality overlords - should be run out of the state on a rail - today....
